Perhaps named from the Aboriginal phrase, “Woomba Woomba”, meaning “the springs and the water underneath”, now comes Toowoomba as a peace city that springs from the peaceful waters of nonviolence underneath. Liaisons Ms. Uma Kumar and Ms. Connie Qu are leading the way for community peacebuilding.
