International Cities of Peace Choose Nonviolence.
While nearly 3000 people were killed by rebels last week in Goma, in another part of D.R. Congo, the City of Peace ideal inspired calm. A huge Peace Pole was recently planted in Kolwezi, Lualaba Province,ย D.R. Congo, whichย due to the work of Liaison John Mukhuta became a City of Peace in September, 2024. Letโs enable theย Peacemakers to have authority and be followed in their behavior.
In the Democratic Republic of Congo Peace there is an immediate need, since 1960 the republic has never know total peace and as you know on the Map, the DRC is the heart of Africa and as science tells us ยซ if the heart is sick it is the whole body that suffers ยป this is why our Organization which is the World Peace Foundation initiated this project of Sanctuary for Peace, it is a holy environment where prayer activities for Universal Peace must take place in every period of activity of Peace, love and unity without forgetting the universal message โMay Peace Prevail on Earthโ and also as a tourist environment for all the peacemakers of the whole World and anyone who will need peace without distinction of race, gender or tribe.
