International Cities of Peace — Builds Strong, Effective Peace Teams
Mr. Kayongo Abdul Mutumba is a thirty-seven-year-old family man who is, as he writes, “blessed with six children.” He wants them to thrive. Wamala Parish is in Nabweru Subcountry, Wakiso District, Uganda, situated approximately 15 kilometers north of Kampala, the capital city. A bustling market where locals sell produce, handicrafts, and other goods, Nabweru also faces challenges: lack of good education faculties, high levels of poverty, and violence. What is needed? An effective, committed leader and a strong volunteer Peace Team to put their desire for peace to work. We are with you, Kayongo, Liaison for Wamala: International City of Peace!
