A Global-wide Rotary Club Story!

The Rotary Club of Midland, which has established their Club through our Rotarianism for Cities of Peace™ program, was pleased to host Rotarian Siddharth Bhimrajka from the Rotary Club of Bombay, India. Siddharth is a second generation Rotarian and has been an active Rotarian for five years. “During our June 27 Club meeting,” writes ICP Liaison and ICP Central Facilitator Gail Hoffman, “he shared information about his work on a Global Grant for Handwash Stations in 750+ schools benefiting 50,000+ children in Mumbai.” The Rotary Club of Bombay (RCB) is one of the pioneers of the Rotary movement in India, devoted to the ideal of Fellowship through Service. It was founded on March 19, 1929 and is the second oldest club in India. The Club in Bombay, today, sustains dozens of community service projects that have touched millions of lives.
