International Cities of Peace® is a Registered Trademark
Just a reminder. Without the permission of Cities of Peace, Inc., the use of the phrase “International Cities of Peace”® is not allowed. We have a formal “Cease and Desist” letter that is required by law in order to protect from trademark infringement.
In addition, the words “Cities of Peace” is a registered trademark of the illumination artwork organization based in New York, therefore it is that company’s obligation to protect their trademark.
To become a member City of Peace with the Association of International Cities of Peace is easy and has many benefits. Yet there is a process and authorization for the use of the logo as well as branding criteria. See the Identity Manual for information on usage.
