Ado Ekiti is an ancient city, founded by Ewi Awamaro the son of Biritikolu. Awamaro (the restless one) left Ile-Ife with his father Ewi Apa Biritikolu and his uncle Oranmiyan to both Ita Orogun and Benin respectively after staying briefly with Oloba in Oba-Ile, in present day Akure. Ado-Ekiti, town, capital of Ekiti state, southwestern Nigeria. It lies in the Yoruba Hills, at the intersection of roads from Akure, Ilawe Ekiti, Ilesha, Ila Orangun, and Ikare, and is situated 92 miles (148 km) east of Ibadan. An urban and industrial centre of the region, it was founded by the Ekiti people, a Yoruba subgroup whose members belonged to the Ekiti-Parapo, a late 19th-century confederation of Yoruba peoples that fought against Ibadan for control of the trade routes to the coast. Ado-Ekiti became the site of a large textile mill in 1967, the people having a long-standing tradition of cotton weaving. The town also produces shoes and pottery and is a collecting point for commercial crops such as cocoa and timber. Crops such as yams, cassava, corn (maize), rice, and fruits are marketed locally. To inculcate the culture of peace into the minds of people and foster unity irrespective of religion, ethnicity culture and language and fast-track inclusive, mutual, good rivalry grassroots community development in all 16 local governments of the Ekiti State through partnership with government, network with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Faith-Based (FBOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) Youth/Community Leaders, Market Women Leaders and Traditional Rulers.

My name is Adeniyi Ismaila Oluwatoyin. The Executive Director/Founder of former International Youth Reformation Organization (IYOREF) which has now changed to Youth Reformation for Peace Education and Justice Initiatives (YOREPEJI). I studied Physics Science at University of Ilorin. I started NGO work as a volunteer with Hope Worldwide Nigeria (HWWN) and other organizations. I am a humanitarian that has deep passion for youth development. I was given a certificate of honour and recognition by the Lagos State Blood Transfusion Team as the best voluntary blood donor between 2010 and 2013 in Lagos State. I served as the secretary and Public Relations Officer ( P.R.O) of Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization university of Ilorin, Kwara State. I later became Youth President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization, Agege zone, Lagos state and later became Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.) at the Lagos State level. Between 2010 and 2012, I also served as the Youth President of Ifako/Ijaiye/Ogba Youth Development Association Lagos. (3 Communities under Ifako Ijaiye) in Lagos State.
