Ndendere, Ibanda, Bukavu, Sud-Kivu Region, D.R. Congo: Creation ACTION LE VERT (ALV) is a Non-Governmental Organization under Congolese law created on July 4, 2001 following the multiple difficulties linked to the atrocities caused by the repeated wars of 1996 (AFDL), 1998 (RCD) and other rebellions caused by both internal and external troops. This situation was the basis of several unfortunate events that plunged the populations of the East into inhumane conditions, including massive population displacements, looting, rape, devastation of fields, massacres of populations, etc. In view of this dark and dramatic picture, a group of people with a humanitarian sense mobilized to come to the aid of this population in distress. Currently, through the Department of Vocational Training and Apprenticeship of Trades, it has acquired the status of Public Agreement “Action Le Vert” according to Ministerial Order No. 287 CABMIN/MIN-FPM/AKK/KMJ/maf/2023 of November 22, 2023, of Her Excellency the Minister of Vocational Training and Trades establishing and authorizing the operation of public establishments for Vocational Training and Apprenticeship of Trades in the Democratic Republic of Congo. While waiting to obtain another order covering the rest of the provinces of the country, and in accordance with the spirit of said Order, ALV is currently extending its activities in the provinces of Kinshasa, South Kivu, North Kivu, Ituri and Haut Uélé.
